Welcome to the first in a new series of Podcasts from Green Standard Schools. In this first episode Joelle Coade, Managing Director of ACET, which is based in Cork, Ireland, and Klaudia Bednárová, CEO of the Bridge Language Centre in Bratislava, Slovakia, (both accredited members of GSS) explain why environmental sustainability is important to them. They also talk about some of the environmental policies they have introduced in their schools, how their staff and students are responding to the challenge of being greener, and how this approach is benefitting their schools, as well as having a positive impact on the environment.
