English on Mars
Is our latest accredited member
Just in case anyone thought we were now awarding accreditation to schools operating on a different planet, we should perhaps explain that 'Mars' in this case is an abbreviation for Marseille, which is of course in the south of France.
Our assessors were really impressed by the huge progress English on Mars has made in the past year, which is perfectly encapsulated in the school's Environmental Policy document, which lists the following commitments:
- To encourage debate about the environment and sustainability with our students
- To limit our impact on the environment
- To reduce waste in our teaching centre
- To educate our students and community about environmental issues
Congratulations to school Director Stuart Haynes and his team for becoming the latest accredited member of Green Standard Schools.
