Plant Based Treaty

Endorsed by Green Standard Schools

A shift towards plant-based diets can help reduce the volume of greenhouse gas emissions caused by food production, and in so doing, can make a significant contribution towards keeping global warming down to 1.5ºC above pre-industrial levels. It can also help preserve our remaining forests and other, similarly precious eco-systems from destruction.

Plant-based treaty is a very impressive project that explains why we need to lessen our consumption of meat and dairy products, and suggests all sorts of ways that everyone can get involved, and help spread the word.

Green Standard Schools is proud to endorse this project and we would like to congratulate the PBT team and all the project's members on their outstanding work. We would also like to thank Gessica Zorz from Scuola Leonardo Da Vinci Milano (an accredited GSS member) for bringing this project to our attention.
